For you I’d write a new song
Memories of you, they still inspire
I’d wrap it up in harmony
Get it delivered by a classical choir

For you I’ll set the world on fire
And given half a chance
Watch you rip the fancy wrapping
And through the storm clouds watch you dance

I walked for miles across the sand dunes
Thinking all the time
Of new melody and good words to write
And prayed to Apollo that they would rhyme

I shut myself away some place
That wasn’t near nor far
Looked up at the night sky
Fixed on you, the brightest star
Today an old number – a demo yet to be remixed one day. It’s a song composed at uni a while back. It’s called ‘Ballerina Dancing’. I hope you enjoy;

Lovely post, George… more memories of Dover?

Thanks. These shots were taken in the wood that surrounds the castle. It’s an out of the way, mainly forest, but interesting because of its history. Thanks again ~ George

What is the second picture? What castle & where?
The player isn’t cooperating on the Reader…*sigh*

Thanks. The second pic is the exact spot where Louis Blériot landed his aircraft making him the first person to fly across The English Channel in 1909. Given the spot is in the middle of a forest surrounding Dover Castle is something I can’t get my head around ~ George

Hm. I should rephrase…I ordered a t-shirt & sweatshirt. I haven’t gotten them, yet. I was remarking on the styles & designs.
I was looking for summer and/or lightweight hoodies but, there didn’t appear to be any.
I got an account on BandCamp, too. Two other artists I like, besides you, are on there. Ever heard of Emily Hackett or Becky Shaheen?

Thanks, I’ve not heard those two artists. I’ll check them out. I’ve done work with Fifi Rong – we were a duet for my Devil’s Kiss song. Merchandise wise I’ve got a range of Standard College Hoodies – you may have to scroll down the listings. No worries if they’re not what you’re looking for. Thanks again ~ George
