‘WHATEVER’

I sent you a letter
You wanted a song
The words didn’t add up
You knew all along

You looked back over your shoulder
Looked back at the sea
Was that for effect
Or a last memory?

All smiles for the romancers
Black looks for good
Ignoring the needy
The misunderstood

You were wearing a blindfold
Put a jigsaw together
Kind of a miracle
Though you just sighed and said “Whatever”

A song from my ‘Forgotten Daughter of Zeus’ album called ‘Decider’. I hope you enjoy;

      1. It’s be great to win things when beating decent teams but as you know when lesser sides ‘park the bus’ our recent history isn’t good. I’m hoping Saturday, v Fulham we get it right ~ George

    1. Thanks. It’s an old Victorian town on the coast called Ramsgate. A lot of French artists used to visit because the sunset is from behind the town not on the sea’s horizon – that’s a rare thing in Europe. Thanks again ~ George
