‘REXIE BELIEVES IN MAGIC’

Another song from my new album, ‘DREAM RESCUER’. This one is called ‘REXIE BELIEVES IN MAGIC’. Here’s the lyric in case you fancy singing along. I hope you enjoy;

Rexie believes in magic

Has done all along

Shipwrecked and nowhere else to go

Its time he learns to head back home

Rexie believes in magic

Has done all along

Streetwise, believes in love and fate

Still searching for his only song

Rexie sits alone

Its getting darker…

Shipwrecked and nowhere else to go

He dreams of home

And the girl he loves the most

With the girl he loves the most

Rexie believes in magic

Has done all along

Shipwrecked and nowhere else to go

He dreams of home

And the girl he loves the most

If you like the song, maybe you’d like to buy the album. You can listen to the whole album without charge at;

https://zoolon.bandcamp.com/album/dream-rescuer

It costs just £5 (plus VAT; i.e. £6 in the UK). If you do buy and feel able to post a review on Bandcamp, that would be most helpful.

  3. I adore “Rexie Believes in Magic”. George, it’s such a beautiful song, you’ve captured both a haunting and heartwarming quality. Rexie is definitely worth waiting for. Your words make me smile every time I hear them.

Thank you, Feather & Lightfoot. As a song it had a planned fall until, ‘It’s getting darker’ then it climbed up an exit ‘back home’ spiral staircase, leaving the haunting bit behind and the heartwarming return to the place he should never have left up ahead. Well, I hope it did. You’ve got it spot on.

      1. You’re welcome George, and “yes” you did it wonderfully.

      2. zoolonaudio says:

I am hoping The Arsenal will do it wonderfully. It’s an hour to kick-off.

      3. I’m hoping for an outcome in your favor.

Oh, Mia – we won 2-1 against a team who buy titles on the back of unearned Russian money, meaning they can afford any player they want. Deep joy.

      5. I’m so pleased to read this, the win should lend itself to much happiness and an ice-cold Coke.

      6. zoolonaudio says:

The perfect coke. It was the last bottle in the fridge. I won’t buy anymore until the new season starts in August.

Wonderful song. It has a magic sound/feel to it with the presence of echo and reverb pushing in and out of the background.

Thank you. I see you’re a photographer, and a good one at that. Focus, I think/hope is what any art genre is. You do it well. Thanks again.

Then Rexie will live long and a happy fella because people who believe in magic and fate are people who believe in love — it is just that they use a different terminology for it lol

    1. Zoolon says:

I hope you’re right. You seem to know these things.

      1. marisselee says:

Yeah. I am the expert hahahaha. I’m kidding. Happy Holidays
