WHY?

george 15 (3)

“I may well have seen the light, but I question the point of a kettle when I drink neither tea nor coffee”

(I think this is meant to be a deep philosophical type random thought, but I never really know with these things. That’s a cool light in the kettle though)

WHY?

Counting shadows in the dark,

Counting echoes from the past,

Counting all your wounds and scars,

One pay cheque away,

From sleeping under stars

One, two, three, four, five,

Once you kept a dream alive,

Six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

Then you let it die – – – – – – – – again,

Why did you let it die?

Why?

(perhaps, the beginnings of a something – perhaps a nothing destined for oblivion, ‘why’s’ always are a bit like it)

    1. I hadn’t checked for a while, but I bought some BN biscuits in France a couple of weeks ago, put them in the tin and have noticed that the tins still gets moved overnight. So long as they leave my biscuits alone I’m OK with it.

  1. Terrific random thought. “Why”, has got to be by far one of the greatest words man has ever created. You’ve got me wondering about intentions left to die, and if they can be resurrected. “A Life”, is gorgeous, I could listen to it on a loop. George, have a great evening. ~ Feather & Lightfoot

  2. Loved the thoughts (and hit like on more than a few comments to second their thoughts too), but I wish the music could have gone on forever. So lovely and soothing to a weary spirit still awake at 4:37 in the AM. Thanks for sharing.
