The link takes you to a demo version of my experimental song ‘Erasing the 38th. I haven’t done much with my music in terms of sharing it with others lately so here we go; the lyric is printed below if it helps you follow the song.

See how it burns

Stars instead of streetlights,

Two moons instead on one,

Touch the edge of heaven,

Give breath to a dying sun,

Give breath to a dying sun (repeat etc.)

See how it burns (repeat etc.)

After the blaze of glory,

Comes the flickering light,

What’s left has no shadow,

No vulture in flight,

Take off this mask,

See how it burns,

See how it burns (repeat etc.),

In this game of Russian roulette,

The weapon now rests at your temple,

Your time on the trigger just drags,

Take of this mask,

See how it burns (repeat, repeat, repeat etc.)

If any musicians out there need royalty free quality music samples (I don’t buy them in, I produce them all myself from a variety of sources, guitar, electronic, surreal) at seriously low prices then my new start business Zoolon Audio might interest you )

I am adding to my YouTube channel

and SoundCloud   all the time.

You can find me on Twitter as well.  I don’t write poetry as such. Any words I don’t throw away become lyrics.

Ok, I’m a 60 year old woman. And I really liked this. Your voice has that smoky thing going on. And I love the lyrics.

Just hope the North Koreans don’t come looking for me

Don’t worry. We all look alike to them.

  5. George, “ERASING THE 38TH” is wonderful. So much going on, little surprises throughout, haunting and mesmerizing at the same time. Just you? Thank you for sharing. Wishing you a great week. ~ Mia

Thanks. I play all the instruments plus added a few samples I manipulated for this one. There are some North Korean newsreels in it but I haven’t a clue what they were saying. Have a great week yourself.

      1. You’re welcome, and thank you. Newsreels, terrific.
